Share one link. You both get 1,500 credits.
Every account gets a personal link. When someone signs up through it and finishes onboarding, they receive 1,500 bonus AI credits and you receive 1,500 — no purchase involved on either side.

How it works
Share your link
Every account gets a personal link at draftl.com/r/YOURCODE. Send it anywhere — a text, a group chat, a class server.
They sign up through it
The referral is tied to the account when it finishes onboarding by picking an account type. Email and Google or Microsoft signups both count.
Both sides get credits
They receive 1,500 bonus credits and you receive 1,500, each valid for 30 days from the moment it lands.
The math
Bonuses add up
| Rewarded referrals | Your bonus credits |
|---|---|
| 1 | 1,500 |
| 3 | 4,500 |
| 5 | 7,500 |
| 10Window cap | 15,000 |
For scale, one referral is 60% of the 2,500 credits a Free month includes. Pro includes 40,000 a month.
Good to know
- Bonuses stack. There is no cap on how many you can hold at once, only on how many referrals are rewarded in a window.
- Up to 10 rewarded referrals per rolling 30 days, which works out to 15,000 credits.
- A signup past that cap still gives the new account its 1,500 welcome credits — it just does not pay you.
- Each bonus expires 30 days after it lands, counted per bonus rather than per account.
What the credits are for
1,500 credits spend on the same tools as your plan credits
Bonus credits are not restricted — they run every AI tool in Draftl. What a run actually costs depends on how long your draft is and which model you pick, so there is no fixed number of runs per bonus. The cost tier below is the honest guide to which tools spend fastest.

Where the credits go
Spending order
- 1
Your monthly plan credits
Always spent first, every month, until they run out.
- 2
Your bonus credits
Spent after that, soonest-to-expire first, so a bonus with days left is used before one with weeks left.
Whatever is left in a bonus when its 30 days are up is gone. It does not roll into the next month and it is not refunded.
Visible on your usage page
Every bonus is itemized there next to your monthly plan credits — the amount granted, the amount used so far, and the date it expires. Referral bonuses and welcome bonuses are labelled separately, so you can always tell where a balance came from.
